For patients who depend on ventilator support, breathing safely and comfortably requires specialized care and close, continuous monitoring. Our experienced teams provide the ongoing support each patient needs, with care tailored to their individual condition.

The Respiratory & Complex Care program is for adults and children who need long-term ventilator support or specialised respiratory management. Some patients remain ventilator-dependent for the long term; others work towards breathing with less support through a structured weaning program.

Our dedicated ventilated care units provide advanced respiratory support, frequent physician review, and rehabilitation from a multidisciplinary team. Alongside respiratory management, patients take part in rehabilitation that maintains function, builds independence, and reaches the highest level of ability possible.
